There's a not insubstantial amount of electrical wiring inside of the automatons, so it's safe to say that you could, in fact, "fry" them, and possibly do irrevocable damage in the process.

that's exactly what i was hoping.
i hear the clock tower is protected by a droid infantry. if they can be fried, that would eliminate a substantial part of the tower's security measures.

If that's the aim, we should work on maximizing the effect. Perhaps an ambient electrical field that could disable multiple units at once.

They do. But I prefer my tea and scones at tea time. This one badgers me no matter what time it is, wherever I go or whatever I'm doing, as though it's afraid I'll die if I stop drinking tea or eating scones for even a moment.

Do you think that will be necessary? They seem harmless enough.

Sure, these ones do. But I'm told there's an infantry of them at the tower with the beacon and I doubt they'll be this harmless when we're breaking in.
