There's a not insubstantial amount of electrical wiring inside of the automatons, so it's safe to say that you could, in fact, "fry" them, and possibly do irrevocable damage in the process.

that's exactly what i was hoping.
i hear the clock tower is protected by a droid infantry. if they can be fried, that would eliminate a substantial part of the tower's security measures.

That tasers will neutralize a droid. I am 98.7% sure the hypothesis is correct but I'd like to test for different degrees of tasering.
