[the video shows a very close up angle of her face, because someone hasn't bothered taking the pendant off to film this. there is a thin balance between amusement and panic on her face, too. she draws in a breath and:]

[from beyond the video, a bird interrupts her confession almost on cue:]

CA-CAW

[she angles the video quickly to a murder of about ten crows in the grass, at her feet, looking up at her. she brings the video back to her face.]

Umm. I fed one. It followed me three days ago, and I had some biscuits in my bag, and I unthinkingly fed it. The next day it brought two friends over. The next day, they also brought friends over. [it's a pyramic scheme of crows.] And now this. [there's a bit more caw-ing in the background, and the camera shakes while she moves to clearly feed them again, because she doesn't know any better.]

Also one swooped down to nip at a villager's hat today because he was looking at me, so I think I might have a murder. Of crows. On my hands. [she's secretly pleased with that wordplay.]

So - that's all from me. Public apologies to the family for the ruckuss.

I also never do it, even though it's advocated a lot. Much prefer reading if I need a distraction.

What is even the point of emptying one's mind anyway?

I've always thought that the more information I cram into my mind, the better. The idea of emptying it is... sounds like my Divination professor.

Nonsense. Seeing the future does not require an empty mind. I would know about that.

Seeing the future - pah.

... Do you have a problem with that?

In my experience, trying to see the future is pointless. How do you know that what you're seeing is accurate, and isn't the result of your actions to change something that you thought was going to be the future? Too many variables.

And a really horrible Divination professor who told me my imagination was as dry as the pages of the books I love to read.

As the Aquarius Star Master, the power of y constellation is that it gives me visions of the future.

And I do not get to choose whether I get to see it or not. It simply happens.

[Well, she's very good at sticking her foot in her mouth, isn't she?]

Oh - I see. I wasn't aware, sorry. I'm sure it's vastly different than looking at tea leaves in a cup.

I cannot say I have ever done that, no.

They tried to teach us that at school, you know. Mostly it was just fibbing to impress a ghastly professor. The more morbid and outlandish your predictions, the more she liked you.
