Sweet Lily of the Hidden Valley:
I used to travel with a lot of companions. It took awhile to grow used to each other, but since we're stuck down here tonight, I've thought of a few things we could talk about to pass the time and maybe help us work together better. Whatever anyone is comfortable with answering of course.
What is your home world like?
What kind of skills or abilities do you have?
Good ways to make money here, or unique supplies we might need?
Who isn't expecting to get a weapon and needs one? I have a few lumps of ore now if ever I can get to the forges..

[ Oddly enough, Eleven will note he hasn't seen this particular face anywhere in the brothel's basements tonight. ]
Did you lead a crew of some sort back home, then? Come to think of it, you and that outsize sense of responsibility certainly do seem like the type.
I grew up in a place with great sweeping plains. Not unlike here, but less cold. The world I live on now is mostly jungle and constant rains; maddening for some, I imagine.
You?

I wouldn't say I led all of us. I grew up in a small village in the mountains until a year ago, so my companions knew more than I did where we were going and what we needed to do. My visions helped sometimes.
But we did travel through a lot of Erdrea. It has a lot of different places: a volcanic region, a great desert, a snowy city far to the north. I'd say there are a lot of mountains overall.

Sounds like a nicely habitable world. Just as well your people have gone uncontacted by the outside galaxy, really. [ Still working under the illusion that he's at least in his own universe here, whoops. ] The Empire is always eager to snap up such useful planets.

I suppose I'll hope it stays unknown then.
But I don't see you here. Are you alright?

Having to hide isn't unexpected, and he can guess why. He's already positive that the rest of them will be easier to catch than him, so... there's that. ]
So you're a blacksmith? [ Who uses magic. That's what he's getting. ] You usually forge all your own weapons?

[A pause]
I could do armor too, if I had enough material.

Assuming you can navigate the forges... [ He's still under the impression that time is of the essence here, but he won't pass up an opportunity. ] How long does that usually take? For what you have on hand.

I should be able to manage that. About how long should it be end to end?

But at least the unit of measurement is a universally understandable one.]
Assuming I find an opportunity to use the forges, I'll do my best.
I've never heard of wire being used as a weapon before though. Is it common where you're from?

2. My core competencies are a. punching real good and b. stealing people's girlfriends. I put that on my resume but nobody's really hiring for that right now.
Also parkour, but that's more of a hobby.
3. Pickpocketing's a pretty good way to make some money. Street fighting, too, if you're me. Nobody bets on a little girl. ;)
4. If you've got anything left over, I could take some brass knuckles or steel-toe attachments for my boots.

[That'll likely depend on how they're leaving.
..It's probably a little rude to ask someone if they are or were a thief. He just misses Erik's crafty insight every day. His friend had also been oddly adept at stealing people's girlfriends.]
I think I can salvage some tools from the mine when I can go back again for salt, so assuming I have the time to forge, I believe I should be able to make something like that. I would just need a few measurements from your hands or the boots you're using.
no subject
That'd be cool of you. The brass knuckles should be at the bottom of your list. I really don't need them. [That'd be cheating. Giving a super-strong superhuman brass knuckles? That's like giving a cheetah rocket shoes. Cool, but completely unnecessary.]
Don't worry, I wouldn't use them in a street fight. I'm not a cheater.

But anything someone can use in defense of themselves or others against the undead is something I'm willing to help with.

It seems all of us come from very different worlds with something surprising about all of them. Things we thought were normal for ours aren't for others. For Erdrea, there are humans and a lot of different monsters.

Also, if you're planning to touch on the mines again, gather some supplies out of what was left behind, there I might be able to help. For the rest, I'm working on money ideas, supplies? Knives. Does everyone have knives yet? Chopsticks are great. Bowls, but we can make those from wood or find them or something of the kind. A cooking pot light enough to carry around. Ladles?
no subject
I have considered salvaging tools from the mine to possibly melt down the metal and rework them if I can. Knives are a good tool but may not be worth the effort of forging. I don't imagine they would be terribly expensive..
Do we know how many we are at present?
no subject
No firm headcount yet, I don't think. Two handfuls at least.
Also, here's a thought: arrowheads.
