Sweet Lily of the Hidden Valley:

I used to travel with a lot of companions. It took awhile to grow used to each other, but since we're stuck down here tonight, I've thought of a few things we could talk about to pass the time and maybe help us work together better. Whatever anyone is comfortable with answering of course.

What is your home world like?

What kind of skills or abilities do you have?

Good ways to make money here, or unique supplies we might need?

Who isn't expecting to get a weapon and needs one? I have a few lumps of ore now if ever I can get to the forges..

How likely are you in getting to forges? Smithing isn't subtle work if we're not talking jewelry.

Also, if you're planning to touch on the mines again, gather some supplies out of what was left behind, there I might be able to help. For the rest, I'm working on money ideas, supplies? Knives. Does everyone have knives yet? Chopsticks are great. Bowls, but we can make those from wood or find them or something of the kind. A cooking pot light enough to carry around. Ladles?

I plan to make it a priority before we leave at some point, so I will for a certainty even if only for a day.

I have considered salvaging tools from the mine to possibly melt down the metal and rework them if I can. Knives are a good tool but may not be worth the effort of forging. I don't imagine they would be terribly expensive..

Do we know how many we are at present?

No firm headcount yet, I don't think. Two handfuls at least.

Also, here's a thought: arrowheads.

Those are all good ideas, but I'm not likely to have a lot of time at the forges to complete all of them even if I had the material. We're definitely going to have pool some money for supplies somehow.

Secondary to coin getting us out of here, so we may need to rely on inventive supply gathering.

I can't bring myself to try and steal anything. Even if I could, it's too much risk. I'll hope the auction goes well for us and make what I can besides.

I've been selling salt on days with decent weather.

Oh, right! The salt mines! Did Haltham have anyone to point you toward for that?

No, but I happened across someone with the same idea so we've been making somewhat regular runs together.

Good for making some movement there! Wonder if we can help clear out any of the tunnels to allow the miners back in... or if they want in, again, before Unhalad or whatever his name is decamps the area. If he will.

I'm almost certain he will need to be removed before his forces are. Still, I do what I can to ensure there are fewer undead traversing the mines. Haltham seemed fairly possessive of it, so I'm sure they'll want to reclaim.it someday.

People do get possessive of traditions and livelihoods, even the hard ones. Still, the ones in the mines don't seem to be used? In the way those outside are.

Yes, they do act more wild. Hard to say which is worse, but the less of them the better.
