( she sounds tired as she turns on the device, easing her way through the new item. )
These devices are strange... ( she mutters, then remembering herself- )
I was hoping anyone might recognize the name Avengers. ( there's a pause, then a sigh. ) I don't know if I'd be so lucky to have any of them here.
But that's not all the help I need. ( there's the sound of heavy swallowing. ) I woke in the canyon a day ago. There were dead things everywhere. They... did something to me. Now I can't get the smell of death off me. Karsa already sent me to bathe twice.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd appreciate any help offered...

I'm sorry I have nothing I can give in return.

Where can I find you?

[ In a surprisingly literal sense! ]

Listening for the sound of footsteps she looked down at the book in her lap until she was certain someone was approaching. A little too curious to stay put Lily rose from the chair, crossing the room to pull the door open, peering out in hopes she'd see the new arrival to their group. ]

when she reaches the door, she spots Lily peering out. she stops short, magic slowly rolling off her so that her mask and clothes dissolve away until she's left standing in the clothes she arrived in- sweatpants and a baggy sweatshirt. ) I hope I'm at the right door. I just realized I forgot to catch your name.

I'm Lily, come inside, have some tea.
[ Stepping aside to pull her door open a little more, Lily let Wanda inside before she shut it again. ]
I'm going to put a muffling charm on the room, alright?
[ As a general rule Lily used magic whenever she felt safe, but after seeing how shaken up Wanda looked, she didn't want to do anything that might surprise her. After pulling out her wand she quickly used the muffling charm her friend had invented a few years back, guaranteeing them privacy. ]
Would you like one of the shifts they gave me to change into so I can try to scourgify the clothes you've got?
@taken for granite
[But for the other one...her sympathies, honestly.]
I have some more perfumed shampoos and soaps. It might not get rid of the smell but maybe it could cover it?
no subject
The perfumes would be nice. Covering it is better than letting it settle too long.

[And Allison isn't too squeamish, so the smell of death won't bother her too much.]
I'm Allison.
no subject
I'm Wanda. It's nice to meet you, Allison.

[Technically they're not supposed to be associating, given she's Team Vannozza, but never let it be said she can't get creative. She swaps out some of her more distinctive masks for something more common, and tries on some less flashy attire and quietly weaves her way through to Macaluso's side until she finds Wanda.
... She may just follow the smell of death, honestly.]

Burn your clothes. They will never be rid of the stench.
Bathe in water laced with salt, as hot as you can take it. Replace the water twice. A hard soap for your hair, then perfume.
[ He has some experience. ]

Thank you for the advice. I've never had a smell like this before.
no subject
I am it is unlikely you will be able to claim the same again, until we are free of this place.
You say you woke in the canyon?
no subject
They... took much from me. When they were done, I found my way to Karsa and the others.
no subject
My sympathies. Our journeys here seem to come at great cost for all of us, unasked for and unwanted.
May I ask what you lost?
no subject
I was weaker when they were done. I had little energy. My energy has been returning, but my power... it feels off. I have not tried to test it's full extent, but I don't think I could reach what I did before. It feels weaker somehow.
At least the spirits who could rest after did.

What is this, a cult of revenge?
[ Well, that's how the translator is rendering the name for him. Hey, he likes it already. ]
no subject
she just laughs instead. )
Maybe like one.
We're a team of people who do our best to protect the world from greater dangers.
no subject
[ He leans in, clearly interested. ]
What kind of dangers?
no subject
There was a man from another planet. He would invade ours in search of stones that gave him control over the universe. We would have to fight him and his army to protect our world and more from him.

but she's been covered in the stench of death before herself. the thought of it lingering for so long...
she would, and must, help. ] Were you able to rid yourself of the smell?
no subject
Currently I just smell like pretty flowers and death. It was a good effort of many to even get this far.
no subject
( emilia is stubborn enough to hope for this, and that they may keep trying.
after a light pause, and because this is relevant to her interests, she can't help but ask: ) What does an Avenger avenge?
