These devices are strange... ( she mutters, then remembering herself- )

I was hoping anyone might recognize the name Avengers. ( there's a pause, then a sigh. ) I don't know if I'd be so lucky to have any of them here.

But that's not all the help I need. ( there's the sound of heavy swallowing. ) I woke in the canyon a day ago. There were dead things everywhere. They... did something to me. Now I can't get the smell of death off me. Karsa already sent me to bathe twice.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd appreciate any help offered...

I did. I was alone with the spirits there.

They... took much from me. When they were done, I found my way to Karsa and the others.

My sympathies. Our journeys here seem to come at great cost for all of us, unasked for and unwanted.

I'm sorry to hear you've all had so much trouble. I hope I can be of more help in the future.

I was weaker when they were done. I had little energy. My energy has been returning, but my power... it feels off. I have not tried to test it's full extent, but I don't think I could reach what I did before. It feels weaker somehow.

At least the spirits who could rest after did.
