I was hoping anyone might recognize the name Avengers. ( there's a pause, then a sigh. ) I don't know if I'd be so lucky to have any of them here.

But that's not all the help I need. ( there's the sound of heavy swallowing. ) I woke in the canyon a day ago. There were dead things everywhere. They... did something to me. Now I can't get the smell of death off me. Karsa already sent me to bathe twice.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd appreciate any help offered...

[ After conjuring a pot of tea away from prying eyes, Lily left the door to her room cracked, hoping Wanda was able to find her easily. She had sounded as exhausted and confused as Lily had been after stepping into this strange world and if she was able to make things easier on Wanda, she wanted to help spare someone else the confusion and anxiety.

Listening for the sound of footsteps she looked down at the book in her lap until she was certain someone was approaching. A little too curious to stay put Lily rose from the chair, crossing the room to pull the door open, peering out in hopes she'd see the new arrival to their group. ]

( when Wanda finally appears, she's wearing a pale mask that reflects red in the light. her footsteps are soft, and it's clear that Wanda is trying to make herself smaller than she is. avoiding curious gazes and passing looks as much as possible.

when she reaches the door, she spots Lily peering out. she stops short, magic slowly rolling off her so that her mask and clothes dissolve away until she's left standing in the clothes she arrived in- sweatpants and a baggy sweatshirt. ) I hope I'm at the right door. I just realized I forgot to catch your name.

[ It's easy to tell that the woman she met at the doorway was rattled by whatever experience she'd endured before reaching Taravast, and while she tried to keep the look of concern off her face, there was worry in the smile she greeted the other woman with. ]

I'm Lily, come inside, have some tea.

[ Stepping aside to pull her door open a little more, Lily let Wanda inside before she shut it again. ]

I'm going to put a muffling charm on the room, alright?

[ As a general rule Lily used magic whenever she felt safe, but after seeing how shaken up Wanda looked, she didn't want to do anything that might surprise her. After pulling out her wand she quickly used the muffling charm her friend had invented a few years back, guaranteeing them privacy. ]
