The prince would apparently like to speak to one of you. The best description he could give was dark-haired, beautiful, with feet.

[ All said with absolute dry seriousness, if she's still a little nonplussed by 'she has feet.' More and more he reminds her of a daemon, talking nonsense that isn't nonsense. ]

[ Hmmm, plains and lakes. ]

Lakes certainly seems to point toward sources of water. The sirens of my world tend to lack feet, and be native to water sources. Did we not, also, have someone speak of a scaled creature in a lake in the Gut's Bind? Although that doesn't quite add up if ours rode out of the keep. Unless there is more than one, or she returned somehow.

Might be there is more than one, or something special about her. Sirens make a great deal of sense to me, though. Especially with that haunting song some of the men in the Ward have heard.

( A song that is much fainter for women. )

When I asked Haiva if he was the one to give chase to her, his answer was simply that he couldn't and shouldn't anymore. That a 'he' wouldn't like it. He wished for them to remain confined to the Wards. To not go down below even, not unless this 'he' or Galatea comes with them. Has anyone spoken to her?

( Galatea. Something tells Emilia she's an important piece to this puzzle. )

I haven't been down into the Guts Bind myself, but I'm aware some do have their assignments there. Perhaps they might be able to who this 'he' connected with Galatea in some way was.

[ There's a few options, but none make immediate and obvious sense. ]
