( Look, everyone else has been coherent about the bear. Because no one else is accosted in the nude. Wei Wuxian doesn't understand why he's so cursed, but when he fumbles his pendant, he's caught saying on visual where his shoulder, damp hair, and a dark ceiling is evident: )
-- Zhan! The bear!
( Which to the informed audience over the comms, means hearing a grumble roar of curiosity while Wei Wuxian yelps. The image falls, catching sight of his unclad, wet backside as he runs for a window, and a large, furry white mass fills the view.
You're welcome. He's on the naked run again. )

[Yeah, she can figure out what happened here. She's going to go out and she if she can find Wei Wuxian, or at least go and recover his pendant for him from the giant undead bear. The bear never seems to hurt anyone, so stands to reason she should be fine, right?]

perhaps it wants to bring wei wuxian home. meet the vengeance family.
wei wuxian refuses to hang around to know.
she will find, however, the pendant is hanging off a chair's corner, where, not so strangely, also clothing is draped. because wei wuxian is not a heathen and strips down coordinatedly before bathing. evidence of his wet footprints remain across the floor, only half smeared by the bear's behemoth paws, the bear resigned to simply sitting and staring out the window and chuffing out a call for its escaped intended. how is it to bring someone to anurr who is consistently not staying around after bear tries to join in the bathing?
at least the annoying one in white-that-does-not-smell-of-snow is not here to loom and taste of confused, bloody intent. the bear paws at its muzzle, then paws at the window again. why is it not larger?
claws hook. it pulls. the window frame creaks, and groans. )

Do you want me to open the window for you?

it doesn't hurt his ears. he makes a sad sound at her, having zero idea what's on offer, but wondering if she too has lost Nice Smelling Human. )
no subject
She makes her way up towards the window, and she goes to wrestle the window open, letting in the cool air from the outside, a soft breeze against the humid air of the bath house.]
I don't know if you can understand me, but is that better?
[It might not be. She may be way too close to this bear. But at least she's trying to engage.]

the bear smells the air, and the wafting scent of The Human with the necromantic touch that is like candy on its tongue. it shuffles up, and forward, and the whole polar mass of it again attempts to exit the window. this time...
... this time, allison has made it so the beast is again released. it oozes with a thump out the window, then scales the side of the building with hefty clunk-thud-crunch pawings, kicking up and up, until it reaches the rooftop not so much higher. a few roof tiles slide down behind it, crashing to the ground.
the bear doesn't care. the chase, sweet chase, is on. )

if she looks up, to see a pale form of a man escaping across rooftops from the three-roofs-behind large not so slip of a bear in pursuit, now she does. )
no subject
And she's just going to race along the road, following the two of them, one of which she's going to owe a huge apology when she gets there.
Can she rumor a bear? She doesn't think she can but maybe she could try?]
no subject
Wei Wuxian, however, manages to slip down to the street with a wheeze when a line of rooftops cuts the bear's ability to see him down to zero, and he doges, still naked, but less wet simply by merit of wind drying as he goes. He ends up dodging across the narrow street Allison may have found herself in while paralleling from the roads, then backpedals when rats squeak from the alley he would have otherwise veered down. )
Excuse me, don't look—Miss Allison?
( Overhead, a thump. So far, no evidence of bear. Just bear awareness. )

[She hands them back to him, but then nods up to the roof.]
Also the bear, sorry. I thought opening the window would get him back to where he wanted to go and he wanted to find you.
[Please forgive her, she didn't know what she did when she let him out.]
no subject
Thank you, it's freezing cold, there's only some wines served best like—wait, the bear? The bear escaped the room?
( He clutches his robes tight at his throat, barefoot and glancing up at the rooftops with squinting certainty that furry persistence is about to make itself known. )
Why it won't leave me alone... What bear is like this? Aren't they supposed to like food? Or woods, because this is not the woods!
no subject
[She shrugs because she doesn't know what to make of the bear either, but it's not rampaging around trying to eat them.]
He actually seemed kind of sad that you ran away.
no subject
( he doesn't hold belief the bear isn't already dead and reanimated. there's a certain tendency with Anurr's creatures. he smiles after that very flat statement: no regrets, but also no caring for a creature such as the bear is. )
Whenever that might be. Regardless, I'll see to hiding away. Once I dry off, I'll find a place to bed down for the night, wet like this I'm leaving scent trails everywhere... aaah, this is such a bother.
( whining in the way of a man who is actively working on his situation, but still noting it's nonsense. )
Least the thing won't bother you. Apparently. One less worry is worth celebrating.
no subject
Well, if you ever want to try and actually talk to him, or want me to try ...
[She hesitates before shaking her head.]
I've never tried to rumor a bear before, but I could try?
no subject
( a pause, and he lifts his eyebrow, half smiling at her as they move away from water or easy lines of sight. )
Not that I wouldn't be curious to see if this rumouring of yours would work on it.
no subject
I've never tried to do it on an animal before. Just people. It might not work.
[But it might, she'd just have to be very careful about how she worded it.]
