It's not a thing we broadcast in my world, what with the rules about secrecy and not wanting non-magical users to know witches exist, but I figure when in Rome...

Oh, please - the wizarding world has known the rest of the world existed for too long ago to be excused. If anything, they're stubborn - who doesn't let children go to boarding school with their own notebooks, because they must instead use scrolls? Who?

It might have known about the other side of the world for a long time but traditions and opinions don't shift easily. Especially if some things change.
