( Wrath has heard from his disciples Vannozza plans on summoning or exorcising- a special ritual spell. He means to look into it more, but he would prefer to have some idea of what he may be walking into. He knows the group is exactly that.

They are a team, and while he is not used to relying on others in such a way, this world is making him experience many things he is unaccustomed to. He means to speak to Vannozza himself, but first, he wishes to inquire about those who have already had dealings with her. In exchange, he would be willing to let them know what he has learned and what he will learn.

Has anyone had interactions with Lady Vannozza thus far? I am curious as to what others may have learned or what their reading of her has been when they've interacted with her.

What do you believe happens in the worlds we leave behind? If some arrive from the future, it must continue on.

But I would not want my brothers here. Is this world less dangerous than your own? I thought few would want family here if it meant protecting them from the dangers of this place.

Is it selfish to want?

At risk or cost to another.

That is extreme. Nearly all wanting comes with a risk. Wanting is natural.

Of course not. Everyone should have free will - the ability to choose.. Including choosing to take the risk themselves. ( #relationship-advice-with-probably-satan )

Artful. But the freedom of one comes at the expense of another.

Often there are expenses regardless. Each individual's choice should always be honored. ( Of course, Wrath himself has been a general for a (very, very, very long time), and he has his responsibilities that he follows unlike some, but that was his choice. Duty over desire. )

You speak as courtiers do.

I have experience in court. It is useful experience as we play politics in a new city.

We play at politics that ruin lives.

[inferus]

Politics where any true power is involved always has that chance. The same play at politics could improve lives.

That is serves conflates justice and self-interest.

I agree. That is a flaw. Justice is far different than self-interest. But many even outside of politics will wield justice as if it is their sword.
