( Wrath has heard from his disciples Vannozza plans on summoning or exorcising- a special ritual spell. He means to look into it more, but he would prefer to have some idea of what he may be walking into. He knows the group is exactly that.

They are a team, and while he is not used to relying on others in such a way, this world is making him experience many things he is unaccustomed to. He means to speak to Vannozza himself, but first, he wishes to inquire about those who have already had dealings with her. In exchange, he would be willing to let them know what he has learned and what he will learn.

Has anyone had interactions with Lady Vannozza thus far? I am curious as to what others may have learned or what their reading of her has been when they've interacted with her.

Often there are expenses regardless. Each individual's choice should always be honored. ( Of course, Wrath himself has been a general for a (very, very, very long time), and he has his responsibilities that he follows unlike some, but that was his choice. Duty over desire. )

I have experience in court. It is useful experience as we play politics in a new city.

We play at politics that ruin lives.

[inferus]

Politics where any true power is involved always has that chance. The same play at politics could improve lives.

You see no flaw in the instrument.

I see many flaws. What flaws do you see?

That is serves conflates justice and self-interest.

[inferus]

I agree. That is a flaw. Justice is far different than self-interest. But many even outside of politics will wield justice as if it is their sword.

( He cannot help think of the brotherhood, of Antonio, of the centuries that he has lived and witnessed the same things happening over and over again. ) The truth is more important. But some prefer blissful ignorance, take pride in their pious indignation.

You speak against tradition.

[inferus]

I do. There is place for some tradition, but there should also always be place for growth.

[downswing]

Novelty is not better in virtue of its nature.

[inferus]

Of course it isn't. Neither is tradition, but to completely shut oneself away from either is frankly foolish.
