At least I have confirmation that his disapproval of Deimar is real and his opinion of him is extremely low. He clearly thinks he would do a better job, which, after seeing this, I very much doubt.

Lord Thyvault has bigger problems right now that one of his nephews' hanger-ons thinking poorly of him. I will stick to prince Haiva's side for a time.

From what I have been able to glean so far, Haiva seems to be supportive of his brother's rule due to his own failing health, while Thyvault clearly thinks Deimar is a fool and he would do a much better job... but his strategy appears to be throwing more people at the undead army. He's a soldier and general, and he's not stupid, so he he has to know this would never work. Why then does he advocate for this?
