I have access to forges. If anyone's weapon needs sharpened or reinforced before we leave, it isn't much trouble.

I also have a fair bit of spare steel now, if there's a need for custom weaponry. Of course, I don't have the materials to manage anything enchanted, but I'm a moderately skilled blacksmith otherwise.

How do you know if it needs to be sharpened or reinforced?

If the edges are dull or nicked, then the sword would need sharpened. For reinforcement, I suppose it would be difficult to tell for someone unfamiliar with a blade, but the blade's balance, weight, or thickness may be compromised.

It's a bit dangerous to wield a weapon you aren't familiar with. Have you had any lessons?

yeah this is confusing. sorry.... I really don't get it and we don't have Google here. let's say if I did have a sword, I probably wouldn't have gone school for it or hired someone for private lessons.

Who even wields swords around here? I really should have made a post about this.

A number of us wield swords here as I recall. Including myself, if you'd like someone to look at the blade for you and perhaps teach you a few simple forms to practice.

It's a bit banged up, but it's still good. Oh and there's someone soul in it but you don't need to worry about that. I think it mostly needs sharpening.
