We've just heard from our friend Haltham about the fighting between Unhalad and Anurr forces nearby, so here's a question for everyone, brought up originally by our companions who got themselves drugged and fight-happy against the second living: what actions do you think we should or shouldn't take?

In Haltham's encouraging words, think wisely. Whatever we're doing or not doing has an effect by merit of choice. Also, a reminder that we still need to not end up in either's hands or revealing our location, given the reason we were summoned here has not changed, and our deaths can be a benefit to either side. Our lives benefit ourselves and our rescuers and the peoples here, by keeping us out of warlord hands.

We look after our own first. What use is it saving life that you cannot take responsibility for? You get the warm glow of your good deed before you can all die together?

Is there a point in continuing to fight about this? I won't convince you of my viewpoint, and while yours is certainly honorable and something to aspire to uphold in principle, I still firmly believe it is a mistake in this case.

We both know that, so why waste time in fruitless dispute?

I've said my piece, Master Lan. If this were up to me, I would leave these people to their fate, and no, I would not be ashamed of it. Any way you look at it, these people are basically already dead, no matter what we do.

I've had to make decisions like this before, and I made them because they needed to be made. But it's not up to just me here, and I won't stand in the way of people who think differently.
