Um. [Maybe not the best way to start off, certainly doesn't inspire any confidence.] Does anyone know who 'Brother Sanwon' might be? I'm asking because, well.
[Because my telepathy which is only sometimes working is picking up weird things but I don't want to admit I have telepathy, hence hoping I can get an answer without outing myself.]
...it's a little complicated, but someone I know [aka herself] Has been hearing...I guess it's not really a voice...well, anyway! They've been hearing the echoes of the voice of a little boy and they mentioned that name. But, I haven't been here long enough to know who that might be...
If it helps, I'm--and that person as well are in Minaras.

[ Voice; un: anzhi ]
We dealt with the Ke-Sanwon volcano a while back. You're sure that Sanwon was mentioned? Did the little boy mention anything else?
no subject
[..........no. wait, what?]
But...why would someone name their child after a volcano? It's like someone naming their child Himalaya...unless it's cultural here?
[She says that last part like she's actually expecting an answer. She still assumes that brother Sanwon is a person and she doesn't want to be rude!]
Yes, I'm certain of it. The voice was saying, 'Brother Sanwon, be a friend.' They were also apologizing...something about taking it back and bringing someone back. And asking, 'is it raining', I think... [Which is such a strange question...
Besides the initial confusion about the name Sanwon she sounds surprisingly calm about all this, if a little like she's not sure how this all fits together.
Then, belatedly she adds,]
...that's what I was told, anyway.
[She almost forgot to keep her cover there! Thankfully she remembered in the end!

[ One where people would sacrifice others, he remembers that volcano all too well. ]
Brother Sanwon is the volcano.
[ He doubts that's the name of the little boy. Though, it made him wonder who the little boy was. Was that the son...? ]
Let's hope that whoever it's speaking of bringing back isn't the Beastmaster, whose son was missing so very long ago.
no subject
[No, really...why???]
Who is the Beastmaster? And...how did his son go missing?
no subject
[ Every place is different, after all. ]
The Beastmaster was the Patron of Ke-Waihu. As for his son, the boy was sacrificed. However, I can assure you that no one wants the Beastmaster's return.
no subject
[It was rude of her, wasn't it? Well, she'll just have to remember not to do it.]
...I see. That's a little sad, isn't it? [Both the son being sacrificed and no one wanting the Beastmaster's return. Well, maybe the latter isn't unearned. She doesn't want to assume.] But, when the voice said, 'bring them back' I also heard, 'take it back'. So unless someone had traded this Beastmaster for something, I'm not sure it refers to him...
no subject
The son being sacrificed is sad, yes.
[ No one wanting the Beastmaster's return? That's not so sad. They'd had one battle with him and they didn't need another. ]
Is there anything else said worth mentioning? Though, I'm sure that you're right. That it isn't referring to the Beastmaster.
no subject
It wasn't that she wanted to defend the Beastmaster but she also wondered...given the things she'd done in the past, would anyone be sad if she disappeared...?]
Mm...well. For some reason, the voice can only be heard near crowds. But my...friend's power also seems to be working inconsistently since coming here.
It also doesn't sound like active thoughts and more like...echoes.
no subject
He also doesn't believe that the other wasn't something special, like a lot of them were. Something was off every time she mentioned her 'friend's' power. ]
That's something to keep an eye out on. Hopefully, whatever these echos are don't give your friend too much hassle.
no subject
It's just echoes and not a full out psychic attack.
[...she says this so casually.]
So, um, what I want to say is, that friend of mine will be fine. But I'm sure they're grateful for your concern!
no subject
[ That was far too casual. ]
I'm sure that you will be fine.
[ He doesn't believe that it's her friend she's talking about. ]
@yiling laozu
What else is the child saying?
no subject
[This is...a lot to take in. She's trying though.]
I...there were a lot of apologies. Someone or just some people they wanted to bring back, that, well. [She doesn't want to assume but it almost sounds like they had been...huh.
She frowned a little, looking concerned.] They said, "take it back, bring them back."
[It sounds a little like a trade had taken place...]

You're hearing him? In the upper citadel? Or down in the Mouse House?

[She's so sad about it but there's.......not too much surprise. Sometimes, parents are shitty.]
In Minaras. I didn't hear anything in the Mouse House.

It's hard to say for certain. Echoes like that could happen for a few different reasons even just accounting for how these things work where I'm from. [Let alone all this magic bullshit!] It would be easier to pinpoint if there was a psychometer or clairvoyant here as well...
But, somehow or another, the voice is definitely tied to the people in Minaras, whether they realize it or not.
