Hello, everyone! I haven't met nearly all of you yet, so - Sylvain Jose Gautier, pleasure's all mine, though you can have some of it if you really want to.

So I've wound up as a chimney sweep in Eidris - and for the record, I'm pretty sure that's my fault for trying to flirt with the forger who supplied our documents, so let that be a cautionary tale going forward - but I've seen some things that are...well, odd? I think.

I haven't really had contact with the dragons here, but I know at least a couple of you must have, so - have you heard much of anything about them going "roaming" or "scattered" from time to time?

Because, let me tell you: it's weird, watching it happen. Maybe the kind of weird that bears investigating, but I certainly can't fly high enough to watch.

It almost looks like they don't know or care where they are. They look completely disconnected, but they keep drifting higher, towards the sun.

It's normal enough that there are dragon riders on standby to herd them back down, apparently, but nobody I asked seems to be able to say much about what's actually going on or why. It just happens from time to time, and nobody seems to think too hard about it. But it seems...I don't know. More significant? In my admittedly uninformed opinion.

Have you noticed any pattern to when and wear it happens? Time of day, or particular areas?

Only seen it in early morning, so far, but I wouldn't conclusively say it never happens at other times - that's when I've been out and able to notice, after all.

It doesn't seem to be localized to any particular places I've noticed.

And they recover from this behaviour on their own? Or some intervention is always required?

I've only seen it ended with intervention. But once again, I don't consider that authoritative.

[ That seems to be a weird commonality between the dragons and droids, from what he's heard. Marcos has been mostly working to manipulate dragon gambling to make money, so he's at least got a few connections he could follow. ]

I've been around the dragons, but I couldn't tell you why that's happening. I can ask around and see if anyone has any ideas.

I chatted up some of the riders who were around, and nobody seems to have much idea why. It's just a thing that happens, and they're all used to it, and it doesn't seem to go much deeper than that for these people.

If anyone in your circle has any inkling, though, I'd be glad to hear it! It just seems...like a pretty weird thing to write off as nothing, you know?

There's a lot of things around here that are a little too accepted as normal. [ He gets making the most of a bad situation, but he's noticed the people here don't even let themselves have negative thoughts. ]

I've got a dragon, but he's not large enough to ride, and it's supposed to be my job is to promote them. I could try letting him loose and see where he goes.

They have idea how long it's been going on?
