This is Darth Imperius. I will be brief.

By now you've presumably all heard the details of Karsa's proposal. I don't have her ability to block out extra ears, so if you haven't, take it up directly with her.

I intend to organize our half of this operation. Some of you have already told me you're coming, but I would like a count of heads to know the size of our force and what skills we'll have at our disposal. We will likely be taking point on the more dangerous part of this op, so if you cannot fight, stay home. I will speak with you all about the schedule in person and deliver a full briefing on the day of.

Any actionable details or useful intelligence are welcome, preferably not over the quartz. Bai Mingyu or Eleven generally know where to find me.

[ Anyone is welcome. If you already signed up OOCly to participate, feel free to assume your character volunteered offscreen rather than replying here. Arche will be delivering info about scheduling and operational plans to everybody offscreen for players' convenience.

Mm. Just make sure you prioritize, yes? [ giving El a pointed look ] We do what we must to keep everyone on their feet, and the rest we deal with after we're all out. Can't have you running yourself ragged and collapsing because you squeezed too much out of that bleeding heart of yours.

[ he takes a long sip of his own mug, giving a brief, contented little sigh as the still pleasantly-warm broth goes down. Seems like maybe he's let his guard down, just a little. ]

[Eleven's eyes drop, sheepish]

They're probably going to be bound in some way and I don't imagine we'll have the keys to free them with.

[He flashes a quick grin]

But run myself ragged after we get the captives somewhere safe- understood.

[ he gives Eleven an eyebrow-raised Look for a moment before reaching over to attempt to mercilessly flick him on the nose. ]

[It's half-laugh, half indignant as he bats him away] Ow.

[He massages the end of his nose for a moment, still grinning] Alright, I'll try to conserve my energy- but I can't promise if they need a lot of care.

[ rolling his eyes with another long-suffering sigh ] I suppose I won't get better from you than that, so it will have to do.

But yes, cutting bonds won't be a problem. Depending on their numbers, I suppose the rate at which I can cut them might be. [ frowning ] Though perhaps Karsa is taking measures for that too. A great deal of this op is going to depend on conditions on the ground when we get there, I fear.

[He shrugs, settling. That's right; Archeval's lightsaber could likely cleave through even metal bonds]

She's providing rose quartz and intends to head a distraction. I think that's all we can plan for. We should probably be among the first few to sneak in so you can start freeing them while I look for anyone that needs healing to aid their escape.

She was intending to do this without us originally, so she must have had something in mind, but -- yes, not assuming anything about her aid is probably the safest bet. She was certainly cagey enough. [ giving a weary sigh as he runs a hand through his bangs, raising the mug to his lips again ]

I keep thinking if I just had one stealth operative here on the ground... I used to run missions with absolutely nothing in the way of resources all the time. Seems I've grown horrendously spoiled. [ he shakes his head at himself a little as he sips some more broth. ]

At any rate. We can lead in, but I've made arrangements with the Lan to be further in the back if fighting starts out -- I can protect us all better at range. So if something does happen, be prepared for me to fall back.

[He nods, thoughtful. If Erik were here... but he isn't.]

I could try sleeping any potential enemies still on board.. I just need to be able to see them. So long as they aren't undead, anyway.

[But the chances they get everyone off the ship without notice or interference still seems quite slim. Eleven chews his lower lip a moment as he stares into his mug. There's no way he can fight and look after the captives at once.]

But I’ll stay with the captives, if it comes to that.

[ nodding slowly ]

All right. If it all goes to shit, get them out as priority one. No point to any of this otherwise. And I'll do my best to shield the rest of us.

[ honestly, of the two of them, the child of light is far better suited for ushering around innocent people anyway. ]

[It doesn't feel like much of a plan, but it's something. He takes a sip of broth, mildly alarmed to find it's growing cool]

..You said you would be working with Lan Wangji? Will the two of you be alright?

[They don't exactly get along, after all]

I promise to graciously resist the urge to kick him in the rear at any time. [ drawling this out dryly as he spreads his hands ]

It will be fine. I've worked missions with countless Sith I would've happily gutted, one obnoxious offworlder is doable enough. [ maybe it's a good thing that he's comfortable enough to drop these casually unsettling statements around you all the time, El? Or maybe it's just how he talks... ]

I've no reason to believe he's not competent at what he does, so that's all that matters. Though, won't lie, it's a bit more trust than I prefer to put into an all new and untested crew. [ sigh ]

[While it's grim to think about, at least he's sure that Lan Wangji is a compassionate- if difficult- person and far removed from whatever awful Sith Archeval's mentioned before. He'll be alright, physically]

We have to learn to work together at some point. [Though admittedly the stakes are pretty high for being one of the first. He takes a long draught of broth] ..I hope we'll manage well enough.
