[ She glances away, mouthing something to someone just out of video range, and then she looks back to the communication device, flipping it around. Standing there is a sailor, unwashed and grimy. He's holding up a tooth, still bloody, and grinning proudly. This isn't the first tooth he's lost; most of them are gone, and his gums are bloody. Wen Qing continues over the camera. ]

This gentleman is a fine example of what will happen should you forget to eat them. [ The "do not forget to eat them" is heavily implied. She flips the device back, still frowning. ]

As Miss Eda mentioned, the sailors seem afraid of women so none of them will listen to me about the oranges. Someone pass on the message to them.

I've made the juice for Lan Zhan, we could try offering something like that to your fellow losing his teeth behind you. Is he... uh, otherwise healthy?

Try the rum in the oranges. It might appeal.

He has a few other ailments that I was able to discern before he realized I was a woman and called me a devil.

That's how far his vision has deteriorated then, because I cannot imagine anytime where it takes more than a first striking impression to realise you're a woman, Wen Qing.

( okay, he just looks amused by this, also more than mildly offended??? what about wen qing isn't hot female, also scary hot female, he's fairly sure even his sister would agree with this, were she still with them. or ever here, which he can't make himself not wish on a level of simply missing Jiang Yanli. )
