I have little to add to the information already disclosed by other individuals on this forum, so I will keep this brief, but it’s pertinent to note that I spoke to the Beastmaster, in person.

I can corroborate the existence of the child in question. I find it unlikely he still lives, but the Beastmaster plans to move on the House of Ravens, regardless. I’m not sure what he hopes to find, but it seems that all of the current threads of this situation converge at the volcano.

I don’t know much of curses, or ghosts, but I have some ideas, regarding the eruption. In my experience, the cooperation of magic and engineering produces a greater result than either working alone. If you are a magic user, I would be interested in hearing about your abilities.

Something will be better than nothing at all. Even a containment tank, to better distribute the water. I’m asking for help.

Ke-Waihu does have a forge, should that suit. I'm a capable enchanter, although if what you desire is to chill the water that is beyond my ability. If, however, someone else can wield ice magic I can direct it into an enchantment on your preferred vessel.

We have a blacksmith. I'm told others among us have ice magic, so we might be on to something, with this.

It is certainly within our power to do something, although how long that something will last is another matter altogether.

I should be able to transport water in large quantities quickly, should we require it for this. Were you planning a stand alone containment tank?

It depends entirely on resources. Ideally the tank would feed into a system that cycles cold water through the mirror, but I'm not sure we have the time for that. Keeping a large amount of water on-site, cooled by enchantments, may have to be enough.

A continually fed tank would take a great deal of piping and some manner of pump mechanism, which I doubt we have the time for, or else a well placed spring and some gravity if we're lucky. Easier to aim low, perhaps, and adjust if things are in our favour.

No, there’s no time for any of that. The idea, however, might be useful for the villagers to execute in the future, provided anything survives this.

They do have a forge, and people who can use it to repair things. If we left them plans, they might be able to act on them.

Yes, I'd like to leave them with schematics. It may be the best we can do.
