[It is time. Have a new face on the network, one that is quite handsome and framed by long, dark hair, dangly red earrings, and a single braid on the left side of his face.

And, well, he'd be even more handsome if he weren't scowling. But there's good reason for him being upset!]

All this talk about sex...okay, I assume that's what you're all talking about because you're either artistically vague or crudely vague. I thought we had a serious mission to complete or something. Maybe I misunderstood.

[He sniffs at that, clearly not believing such an outcome.]

Whatever. But another thing. Be careful about just entrusting your swords to people. They have feelings. too.

[Suddenly, from somewhere off-camera, there's a few grunting noises. Kanesada glances at it and his expression darkens again.]

Right. Important matters.

[He turns the device around to show...a rabbit? If such a thing could really represent the rest of its species, what with its three eyes and...mandibles. But it just glances at Kanesada, tilting its head to the side as if questioning what he's looking at. Kanesada continues from off-screen.]

Oh, yeah, it looks all innocent now, but this...demon rabbit has been following me for, like, three nights. And I've seen it suck at least one man dry, like it's a vampire! But there's obviously something wrong with it, 'cause why would it be normal in the daytime? Does it have its own curse?

...Can demon rabbits get cursed? Wouldn't they do the cursing?

I know I oughtta just kill it, but I almost feel sorry for the damn thing.

[The rabbit perks up at that last sentence and snuffles in offense. Kanesada sighs and turns the device back to face him.]

So, yeah. If you see it at night? Run like hell, unless you're a competent fighter. And even then, I'd probably still suggest running. On top of everything else, it probably has a thick hide under all that fur.

[And he can agree this stranger is indeed, handsome, although in a slightly different way than San Lang. It's the braid that tripped him up.]

Since you are on here, I assume you've only just arrived?

Oh! You're a lucky man, then. I hope his personality matches his face. That'd make it even better.

[Not that Kanesada really knows what he's talking about when it comes to relationships or romance or whatever. He does know a thing or two about being attractive, though.]

Ah, yeah. Showed up a few days ago, getting chased by that demon rabbit thing. Taksui explained what's going on, though I can't say that makes any of it any better.

... And if Taksui explained things, then you probably don't know much. I don't believe he knows why we're actually here, and what he knows, he won't tell because it's not beneficial for his family.

Hmm. Yeah, he does seem like a punk too big for his hakama. Not that I can tell what's really going on. We're, like, atoning for old sins or something? Which seems pretty...weird.

oh, this he would know. I meant how we came to be here at all.

... Well the truth is we don't really know how either, but it seems we're being captured to save as power providers for some undead people, which we don't exactly agree with.

Some people int his world also think it's not a good idea, so they're helping us try to escape.

Uh huh. Glad to know there are some people with some sense around. How's that escape plan coming along?

[A pause.]

Okay, actually, if we're all still hanging around I guess it's not going so great.

Some people have come and gone, but basically, we don't really know how we appear here, and the only method to send us back appears to be some beacons that are, unfortunately, controlled by the people in power here, and they need to be... convinced to let us use them.

And even then, sometimes, it doesn't work. Some people used the beacons to go home and then they came back. They don't know how. And then sometimes some people just seem to disappear and we're not sure how they left.

But a good number of us have been here for a while.
