Ah, and for those of a mind for it, several... memories of his were shared in not entirely useful ways with me. I'll run through them for those wishing to hear about them, if there are any of you. After answering initial questions, ah?

As for what of Master Zenobius' remembrances I gleaned, it was something... as follows. Half is nonsense, but memory's like that, isn't it?

I... think there have been already too many mirrors. The one on the ship, the one from Sa-Hareth... I doubt the one? Or ones? In these memories is either of them. Is it?

No, but one wonders if it predates the rest. In memory, it was whole and rust coloured. Later, shattered and bleeding Zenobius fresh as he clutched a shard in hand. The dead followed after, and after whatever loss Matthias suffered.

Once, the mermaids swam freely and peacefully here. Now they die in compulsion after mirrors.

Perhaps. The mirror on the ship had definitely affected the mermaids who were trying to take it back.

Senior Wei, if I were to help you, could we try to identify which of the shards on the tenth floor come from mirrors in those memories? That might help to know more.

This only seems to bring more questions that were starting to come to me following some recent discoveries.

Namely, who made these mirrors? Everything we seem to have found out so far implies they didn't make them, but find them. So where are they from? How did some of these make their ways all the way to Sa-Hareth? And will we find more as we go?

No, but he who called him back, and that's tiring in its own way.

Correct to ask, and correct to wonder. I have the sense that they were trying to awaken or activate a mirror, only it didn't go as hoped or planned. The magic involved, yes, changes things? Calls to things. Yet where did they originally find themselves buried?

Again, mirrors play a part. It's clear that we need to learn more about how these mirrors were made or otherwise enchanted.

Often, yes. Not every exertion need be physical.

I don't know if my magic will work well against them, but it's worth a try.

These mirrors seem to be a part of Ellethia's magical practices, if the brochure I recovered from the first part of the city is anything to go by. It's not the first time mirrors have played a part in something that's affecting the group. The sooner we learn how they work and how they come to be, the better off we may be.

[Although you cannot see it, Anduin frowns (it feels as though he is always frowning these days, the expression on his face sad and concerned. It feels... Strange, to have himself featured among this list. Though he is grateful to have been able to be there for him, for whatever time he could.]

Did you know, he told me he could not remember how long he had worked in this place. I thought he meant he did not know. But now I think it may simply have been so long...

Warding and talismans might have some effect, but you're correct, in that mirrors appear to be something of a collapsed city's preoccupation. And these, a magic meant to what, deny death.

... Have you light which gives no heat, or a way to prevent paper from dissolving in water?

In the meantime, what we can do is provide for a man who returned to the well he was once thrust into by the hands of one he trusted. Or looked up to, or whatever nuances were between him and Master Matthias.
