un: man's greatest treasure [text]

[While on the boat ride from hell, there's a point in the first night where Hermione decides what the hell, for morale.]

I have mint leaves for anyone who is sea-sick, so please reach out if you would like some. I can float them to your boat. Chewing on peppermint would've been better, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

[There is a pause on her end here, before she writes out the rest:]

For whoever is holding the candles lit, if you are having trouble staying awake or keeping calm, maybe we can exchange stories. Surely if we whisper into our pendants...

Oh, one more thing! Does anyone know how to change the display name on these bloody things?

Both are valuable skills where I come from, and to be without either could result in you losing "absolutely everything".

( but he is definitely a Slytherclaw through and through even before he fell into Hell )

I agree. There is a benefit to having allies especially within a world that limits us so. Our entire group is necessary in finding the appropriate path home and not being used by those with more power than us. ( not that he enjoys admitting that )

I am accustomed to having far more.

And you utilized power of your own - magic like Lily's through a wand with the necessary words to accompany? Does this magic come from within?

At times, it appears to. As an example, I can usually teleport much further: between realms in my own world, but I am limited in terms of distance within this one.

It is still strange to know your world has many schools to teach magic, especially after already having experienced witch hunters. But it is vital, important even if they've grown complacent in some areas as you mentioned previously
( within his own world, witches must hide, but it leaves much to be desired in terms of training and having the tools to protect oneself. )

The ability is limited to a relative few number of individuals - my brothers and I are among those few. If many were capable of teleporting between realms, there would be no balance. ( it would be dangerous primarily for the mortal realm given all the demons who would gladly jump at the chance. )

You are free to ask whichever question you wish as I am free to choose to respond or not. ( it is not as if she is a member of his house nor a resident of hell relegated to certain rules as they pertain to him. nor is any of it enforceable in this world regardless. )

( to be asked if he is a witch is a strange thing given his complicated relationship with them - the first witch cursed him and tore his wings from his back. he lives with their absence and the curse still - centuries later. and he is in love with emilia, his betrothed, his wife to be, also cursed. )

I am malvagi - One of the Seven, the General of War, Prince of Wrath. Few here appear to be aware the stories associated with my brothers and I, and the titles have little meaning in a world so separated from my own so I have had little reason to give them.

Deadly is even more dramatic than wicked, but yes, we've been referred to as such. It appears you are more familiar than most I've spoken to. ( granted mortal stories vary in their accuracy. they often get twisted over the centuries especially with terms like wicked and deadly attached to them - not that he has a problem being associated with either adjective. ).
