[ Rebuilding efforts in Taravast are going slowly, but Wrathion had the bright idea to try and wrangle some of the Blood Golems that needed to be captured and make use of them.
Unfortunately... he has been running into problems.
There's a note of strained patience in the audio message when it clicks on: ]
It seems the main risk when it comes to the golems is... clumsiness, thanks to their size and strength. They have all the intellect of a newly born mammal, and just as small an attention span. They take direction but are... easily distracted.
[ This is frustrating. The distant sound of heavy footsteps is audible nearby. ]
I had --
[ Wrathion is cut off by... his own voice, talking over him from further away? It is very firmly saying CONTINUE CLEARING THE RUBBLE. The heavy footsteps pause, then sound again. ]
... I had hoped to put them to use, but they may be more trouble than it's worth.
[ He's having to watch this thing like a hawk.
For anyone in the residential area, they might spot Wrathion standing near one particular golem which is slowly helping clear a collapsed building. It has a small, glowing gem attached to it which periodically jumps to life and plays a recording of Wrathion's voice to remind it what it's meant to be doing.
He's finding this quite excruciating, but at least the golem is managing to get some work done. If you want him to direct this golem to help you, offer your own help, or just question him about it he's quite open to any of those things. ]

The demerits of free assistance.

Their creators presumably had a reason to make them this way, but as it stands I --
Put that down.
[ There's a pause, then the sound of something heavy being set down by a less than gentle hand. ]
These constructs are the most limited I have seen.
[ 2/5 stars would not use again. ]

My apologies, you are correct, I will escort this construct to your abode and leave it to do as it pleases. Do let me know your current address, and be aware it finds rooftops and birds fascinating.
[ Honestly. ]
I'm not compelling it with force, if it isn't in the mood it can sit down and ignore me. It just lacks the capacity to remember its tasks. I would not be surprised if its creator designed it this way to avoid it making choices of its own.

The constructs belong to the necromancers. They are meant to be returned to them, and I believe they will leash them more... efficiently.
[ A mild hint of distaste over the words here. Wrathion has a mild distaste for necromancy in general. ]
Abandoned to its own devices it would lack direction as it was until I herded it here. Constructs are akin to working animals here, it seems, only with a more distinct link to their masters. If you desire more detail on how they are kept I suppose the Necromancers themselves would be the correct people to ask.

They follow you now.
( Sir, you are responsible. )

I suspect our dear friend the merchant would find an unwanted purpose for such a travelling companion.
[ 'Dear Friend' said with an appropriate amount of disdain. ]

It lacks the sense to sustain itself. You have spoken.

It will be reclaimed by the necromancers, they are experienced with caring for them far more than I am.

You seem -- frustrated.
[To state the obvious.]

You're welcome to offer your assistance.

Would you like some assistance?
[He will note that wasn't specifically an ask. He wouldn't want to intrude!]

Anduin can probably picture his arms-folded stubborn stance. ]
This is requiring much of my attention currently.
[ It would be... pleasant to be able to feel he could take a break from monitoring the thing. ]

[ He's pretty certain on both counts. ]

Also that is not a clear yes or no, sir.]
So it would seem.
I would be happy to assist you, if my presence would not be a further hindrance.

Are these golems living creatures? [ no such thing existed in his world ]

[ We don't ask for help openly, Anduin, surely you know that. ]

On the other, adventurers who want to do tasks for you should be encouraged. ]
If you have the time.
[ Would you consider an... escort quest? ]

Not like I have anything better to do.
Fluffy is pretty good at spooking the golems into shape.

Company, on the other hand.]
Of course. I will be over shortly.
I'm sure you will not be too hard to spot.
[A beat.]
Or hear.
[He Tries.]

[ How do you define 'living'? Does that answer it? ]

But if they are somewhat sentient, it feels wrong to just discard them too]
Who will be taking care of them after we leave? [ unless they will come along.]

[ He... borrowed it. Borrowed. Temporarily. Without asking permission. ]

[ Wrathion is curious. To act is to choose. He certainly has plenty of opinions on other people's choices, but what have been Lan Wangji's? ]

Wrathion finds himself curious about Fluffy despite himself. ]
Find me in the residential area. I'll introduce you to my companion.
[ The golem. He means the golem. ]

You think you're funny.
You won't be laughing if this golem goes rogue and picks you up. ]

They sure as useful. [ necromancers, he means. They seemed to be... strangely fond of kaneki when he asked them for help ]
I heard a saying we shouldn't look a gifted horse in the mouth. Something about being thankful for the help, regardless if it can be... ah, taxing. [ frustrating, that is ]
