Well, that wasn't very nice.

I know some people offered rooms up in the palace for those of us who were assigned to Macaluso, but I am more used to living in more modest accommodation, and there are a lot of empty houses in the Southern district and people who still need help down there, so I'll be heading there to settle down for now.

Maybe I'll get to hear what the people think of what is happening right now, too, but quite honestly they... don't feel as panicked as I would expect people to be given everything that happened. I wonder how much of that whole soul transfer thing they know about, if maybe this is like a story you tell people behind closed doors but don't speak of in the open...

If you need me, I won't be very far. And if anyone needs to lay low outside of the palace, you're welcome to join me.

Hm, I'm wondering about that. I've seen situations like that before where populations simply did not react because it was just the way things are, and finding their next meal is more important.

A palace is the worst place ever to keep a secret, to be honest, so I wouldn't be surprised if maybe some people know. We'll see.

Of course you can visit, if you want to, but be careful about the curfew. They're not being very nice about keeping people in line right now.

I'm not going to be alone, there's plenty of people to help, but it will be nice to see you if you come.

Hm. I don't know how many people will move back in, but we should at least make sure that if they do, the buildings are more or less livable.

As long as we can help even one person in some way, I will consider that a success.
