[She's very careful. She wants to make sure that this is just between the party, and not leaked out to the higher ups.
Well. It can be leaked out to the higher ups, but not until they decide what to do with the information first. If she sounds tired it's because she is but she knows that what she's handing out could be dangerous if told to the wrong people.
That's why it needs to be handed out carefully.]
For those of you considering going to town to make deals with the necromancers, be careful and whatever you do, don't give them your blood. If you've already given it, then be careful who you piss off. It's giving them pretty serious leverage over you that they will sell to the highest bidder when you make someone mad. And contrary to what they try to sell you, it doesn't have to be your blood. It just has to be a living donor.
[Which means putting someone else in bad shit, but well, she doesn't care about some other asshole. She cares about the people here who are trying to get home not getting fucked over by creepy wizards.]
Also, about the man that allegedly poisoned everyone? He was in Macaluso's custody the day of the poisoning. But given the way things are being handled here, I would wield that information very carefully.
[The lines are open for questions, though she will have to tap her brother for information on the poisoner stuff. She didn't actually see that one.]

[She makes no promises for Five, ever. And she knows she can't rein in any of them the way she thought she once could. As much as they would fly to her side, they also wouldn't listen to her when she wanted to protect Vanya.]
But I don't mean you any harm either. And I promised Wrath I wouldn't use my ability on you.
[Emilia should know too, and feel safe in that promise.]

( diego gives her the impression that he is rather soft underneath a tougher exterior, but five — the best way to deal with five, she thinks, is to assume that at any moment he'll lunge. emilia will protect herself and those she cares for through any means necessary, so she hopes it never comes to that.
for allison's sake, above all.
if she meant to say anything else about the complicated nature of siblings, her thoughts are curtailed by the mention of allison and wrath's conversation. )
You did?
( she's caught off guard, and not quite fast enough to conceal it. she hadn't realized they'd spoken first. )

[She's not sure if she's surprised that Allison agreed to it or that Wrath asked, but she's willing to confirm it all the same.]
Not that I would have anyway. I try to use it sparingly as it is, and especially not on my friends.

Free will is one of the most basic laws of nature in my world. Spells that trifle with it, though they are few, are considered Forbidden Magic and hold the most severe consequence. And so I know the responsibility, Allison. As I know the fear held by others once an ability is revealed. ( one is outright deemed evil by men like brother carmine. dangerous, which she supposes is true enough. )
All of which is to say your secret will be safe with me. ( allison may not be a witch, but there are enough parallels. )

[She probably shouldn't keep it a secret. It doesn't exactly breed trust, but she also doesn't think it builds it either.
She's also just a mess in general so secret for now.]
I've made my fair share of mistakes, using it. I don't want to do that anymore.

She's made her own set of mistakes, albeit different in nature. And she's had to learn quickly how to outgrow them to adapt accordingly. She may not be in the Seven Circles, but this world presents its own dangers, and she can't return to her mission if she doesn't come out triumphant here.
A silence settles between them following Allison's admission. Emilia looks down and then gives a quiet laugh. She lifts up a small box in offer to Allison. Inside are basically the equivalent of miniature Sicilian donuts, dusted with sugar and drizzling in hazelnut chocolate. )
In all this conversation, I nearly forgot I'd meant to give you this. ( as a thank you for helping the night of the poison. )

Oh, we're going to be good friends.
[Yum. And they will enjoy the box together.]
