Don Macaluso's offer has been heard and otherwise dismissed, understandably so. Criticisms of his actions after the cowardly poisoning of his guests are, I think it is safe to say, warranted. And yet, where has his good cousin been amid all this? Has the Lady also no spine to at least speak up and condemn the actions of what appears to be a dissenting citizen? Has she also not looked beyond appearances to find the spark that drove him to such treachery? Did he act alone? Did someone with power drive him to it? Where is the justice? Where is the truth?

I urge these cousins to become better than they have been, not for their own face, but to help their guests. For we are guests! And yet we have been left to our own devices to search for our own cures while those with real power and influence sit by either silent or unwilling to move. Surely the great city of Taravast is better than this. Taravast certainly deserves better than this.

Someone must stand up and put an end to all this.

For those of you considering going to town to make deals with the necromancers, be careful and whatever you do, don't give them your blood. If you've already given it, then be careful who you piss off. It's giving them pretty serious leverage over you that they will sell to the highest bidder when you make someone mad. And contrary to what they try to sell you, it doesn't have to be your blood. It just has to be a living donor.

[Which means putting someone else in bad shit, but well, she doesn't care about some other asshole. She cares about the people here who are trying to get home not getting fucked over by creepy wizards.]

Also, about the man that allegedly poisoned everyone? He was in Macaluso's custody the day of the poisoning. But given the way things are being handled here, I would wield that information very carefully.
