I really don't see why we can't use phones like normal people.
(coming from someone with a world without the internet or cellphones so he means like...wall in phone phones. anyways diego's had a rough go of it in the past few days and anyone who might be listening well might hear the yelps of various wolves behind him.)
Anyways, as my family tends to make a name of itself, does the name Hargreeves ring any bells? Or even just a little asshole who goes by Five? (love you too little/big brother!!!)
Beyond that...I had a hard time even getting into this place because I kinda made...some friends on my way here and apparently not everyone likes them. I don't know why. They're good wolves! They haven't tried to hurt me or anything.
But I also have no idea what I'm going to do with five wolves here. Killing them is not an acceptable answer, if I wanted to do that, I would have. They haven't hurt anyone.

[Because of course it's Diego. At least he wasn't somewhere being executed for treason. That was a worry for her and Five at one point.]
Where are you?
[First things first. But shortly after that:]
I'm sorry, did you say wolves?
voice | @taken for granite
Not far from the palazzo? Apparently they thought I was some kind of suitor?
(oh thank god allison is here. he has never been more glad to hear his sister's voice. the past few days have been an adventure)
And yeah? I woke up with them, they didn't trust me at first but after a few days of traveling together trying to find any signs of civilization we kinda bonded.

[She really should be surprised, but she's not. All the same, she's pushing up to her feet, making her way through the halls to her brother.]
Don't move. I'll be there soon.
[Suitors were her area of expertise, after all.]
no subject
What's that supposed to mean?
(at least he's not like...in prison or in an asylum, being adopted by wolves is honestly an upgrade. and he waits....with his five wolves. not at all gathering attention.)
no subject
[So, you know, at least there's that. But not long after, Allison will appear in the palazzo, scanning the space for the guy with a small pack of wolves. And when she spots him, it's a quick conversation with those assigned to him as one of the "suitors," but given that she's the local matchmaker, she easily takes charge, taking him by the arm and leading him away.]
Don't worry. I'll make sure he's presentable for Lord Malacuso.
[That's for their benefit Diego, not yours. Once the people seem to ignore them, she loops her arm through her brother's and starts walking him towards somewhere more private.]
Did you get filled in on what we're doing here?
no subject
(he figures her comments aren't really for him -- or he hopes not anyways. he doesn't really feel up to being presented as anyone's suitor right now. not that he couldn't kill it because he's hot as hell but he's still mending a freshly wounded heart.)
I did. That lady -- Karsa -- she filled me in on things.
(and the wolves may be trailing behind them as they walk arm in arm because they imprinted on him.)
no subject
I got made a matchmaker, so they should buy that excuse easily enough. Did she tell you if you're working for Vannozza or Malacuso?
no subject
Vannozza. Who do you and Five work for?
(he doesn't realize vanya is here too, or he'd ask about her as well. and yeah, the wolves are gathering some looks but he's also not sure what to exactly do with them either.)
Also it does not surprise me to hear you're a matchmaker, somehow.
no subject
[But she's very pleased that she's not the lone Hargreeves working for Vannozza anymore.]
I'm on Vannozza. Five and Vanya are working for Malacuso. We haven't found Luther or Klaus yet.
[Four down,
threetwo to go.]no subject
Knowing Klaus, he'll volunteer to be a suitor.
(for the attention and everything.)
Vanya's here too?
no subject
Five was first, then Vanya, then me. I've only been here a little over a month.
[She's almost glad Diego wasn't here for the harpies, because he would have probably tried to stab a ghost. But as she says that, they reach Allison's private rooms in the palace. Once they're behind closed doors, she turns and pulls him into a warm hug, because she is very happy to see her brother.
... The wolves can come too, just don't claw up her furniture please.]
no subject
(he hugs her tightly, because it's good to see her too. the past few days have been rough, even with his wolf buddies. they luckily do not chew or claw on her furniture, at least not yet.)
Sounds like I'm late to the party.
no subject
[He doesn't always learn his lesson the first time.]
no subject
It could be. Or preparing himself as a suitor. Seems like something he might get into.
(diego, meanwhile, is glad allison saved him from that fate.)
no subject
[She would much rather be distracting Malacuso with Klaus than Alina, but beggars and choosers.]
Though who knows if Malacuso is worth the effort.
no subject
What's this Malacuso like? They didn't tell me too much about him before they were trying to shove me on stage to offer me up to him. (he's still not sure if he should be insulted or flattered by that.)
no subject
[Which is an odd way of putting it when there's a lot of nepotism involved, but it's the lightest way to put it.]
He has big ideas that go against the grain of the way things are currently run in the city.
no subject
Is that a bad thing? Maybe how things are being run need to change.
(diego you've been here five minutes, cool it.)
no subject
[Allison's not personally swayed one way or another.]
And for some people, changing rulers is going to be change enough.
no subject
Fair. Wait -- hold up -- zombies?
(please explain, sister.)
no subject
[She wants to make that very clear.]
But apparently Vanya came in on a ship full of zombies, and it's a big problem this world is dealing with. Though they call them "undead."
no subject
Undead is so vague. That could mean a lot of things. Vampires, ghosts, ghouls, and yes, zombies.
no subject
[Allison still has a lot to learn about the world they're in.]
no subject
I will.
(much to five's chagrin, probably.)
no subject
[And then she smiles.]
But, since it seems like we're on the same team here, we can work together. Always a bonus.
