What are the resentful spirits? What are they doing?

They're the remnants of those who die uncleanly, to simplify, and they're harrying ranks at present under careful direction. A sweep through can help end this with how ranks have been thinned.

I can't use any arrays right now, but I can fight. I can draw a good number to me.

.... what are you going to do with the resentful spirits, are you controlling them?

I am, and with the thinned ranks, I can sweep through with what I have here to free everyone of the rest. The biggest threat I still see are Unhalad's older dead—not the newly turned, those have been the first falling all day.
