I know that ash is commonly used for cleaning, but I do not believe it is quite as effective on stone or hardwood floors. And if you'd like to burn something, the kitchen might not be the best place. We have room outside.
Also, I do believe there was talk about purifying the lake and the house after our... guests departed. Has more thought been put into that?
