An outside mystery for you all! The wolves here aren't natural, and where the village children leave supplies at those cabins in the woods — around there smells of wolves, children, and adults. Human adults. Ever seen any venture out that way? I haven't.

If you care more about domestic mysteries, here at the estate the fireplace and feasting hall stink of bloodshed and all the emotional reasons one might have for it.

Not related, but terrible nonetheless, Julien refused even the idea of himself and his prince joined by a third in the bedroom. Pulled a Wrath and everything, cold, snippy, jealous, downright possessive. Which can be fun under certain circumstances, but might be a warning to all of you who've only seen his apparent sweetness.

He was quite generous and warm! Even in his initial refusal. He only grew cold when I said I hardly asked to take him to bed alone, with his loyalty to his prince and fiancee. I'm very generous. Julien was decidedly not.

( he sounds amused. )

Don't mistake it for any offense that I felt, or me pressing suit when it's clearly unwanted. His change was simply swift, and that's worth noting, because it went from graceful in delivery to cold possessiveness.

It is interesting, especially since his manner changed as soon as your offer extended to the prince. He does seem to be... protective of his fiancé. Though that might not be so surprising, given all the prince has supposedly been through. I can be protective as well.

Protective is well and good enough. I only bother mentioning it because it's more... cloying, jealousy.

I do wonder how they met, came to care for each other. Especially as the prince is so reclusive.
