This is Darth Imperius.
Anyone interested in discussing our newfound options in person... [ or more importantly, away from prying ears on the quartz ] ...may find me in the parlor this evening. Perhaps it is genuinely time to round up that group meeting several of us keep threatening.

"Did you encounter the voices in the night? I tried to make some investigation of them, and though I didn't turn up much of use... I have the sense that Anurr's forces are either allied with them or would like to be. I don't trust the motives of such beings, inasmuch as they even tend to have any."

"The forest people are more afraid of the voices at night than it seems most people here at the farmhouse. I tried to ask them - the forest people - where the voices came from, and all I received for an answer was 'the wind'. Same answer for the wolves. But they were very confused by my asking who controls the wind."

"Well, that puts a new spin on the matter. I suppose it's no surprise that this harsh environment would produce further restless spirits beyond the control of either faction. Regardless, though -- if you ask me whether I'd support backing Anurr, I would say given our past dealings with him, it would be the better of two bad options." He gave a quiet snort.
"I've no doubt his undead would still slaughter us all if they could get away with it. But between remaining neutral, or backing one of the pair of nuisances, I do think Anurr could perhaps be of use. Though whether we can truly trust in his cooperation after the threat of Unhalad is removed..." A shrug from the Sith as he reached for his tea again.
"As I said before, though. All such alliances come with some risk. But I imagine, with such a uniquely knowledgeable perspective, you must surely have your own thoughts on the subject?" He raised a curious brow over the top of the cup.

But Regulus didn’t like the idea of supporting Anurr either.
“I think we should avoid supporting either as much as possible, but I don’t mean to be neutral. I think we could successfully play one against the other.” No surprise there, he liked Winnie’s idea. “Nothing wrong with manipulating your enemies to do your work for you. But, if I had to pick one or the other, Anurr would be my choice.”
