so that was a fun romp. everybody recovered?

y'know, our buddy wangji's post got me thinking -- what if that was a kind of in-between dimension? between this world, and maybe ours? something else entirely? i don't know -- anybody got portal experience here?

Don't we all? How else would you explain that we ended here, if not through some strange portal to another dimension?

You seek to know what caused the unwinding, to know if it could take you home?

Beacons are known to allow portals to take us home.

We know there is a beacon in the grounds of Vassarizhia, the clock tower in the neutral zone. We were told it would 'light' within months, when the clock is due its annual winding. Given it just unwound, it is possible that the beacon was involved in how the unwinding came to act -- in the changing of reality around us.
