Dear Friends,

I am presently enjailed with a number of the protestors who did not have the luck to get free of the ordered guards. Some here have been injured, and we've done what we can on limited supplies and with limited sympathy, but it wouldn't be a terrible idea to drop some fresh clean bandages in, maybe a few poultices for healing, and also:

I probably need to exit this particular stage after chatting up my cellmates for their thoughts, to the accompaniment of the odd gurgle from the semi-conscious man in the corner. Don't worry, he's actually improving.

Remember, make love! Not violence! Makes for more fertile growing grounds.

Yes, as it stands. Which on that matter of a scale, things down here are fairly sedate. Some of these protestors that didn't make it away before the violence are used to being collected and brought here, for this or that issue; the violence is the new factor, not their presence. Master M seems, ah, sensitive. Indeed.

Violence as a new factor is never a good sign.

It isn't, and Master M, Lord M, whatever we choose to call him here, is employing it against people used to peaceful protest. Why so defensive of his platform?

There is, well, one good point: under whose banner do you stand?

I can only imagine the defensiveness comes from his marriage to an outsider idea being heavily frowned upon is widespread, not localized to a few peaceful protestors. They just do not do things that way here and any noise could cause an uproar to follow.

Or cause the undead who wander the world in warlord hands outside to find an in here, but we did rather bring Anurr waltzing in, in a manner of speaking.

Stagnation versus fear of maintaining a balance, it's understandable. But! Either way, being part of Lord M's entourage, coming by with food for the jailed can lend some, ah, thoughtfulness to him if you care to. We're not starving, but good will comes with giving the guards and the protestors more to sink their teeth into, and you never know when a kindness remembered to either half will be an advantage!
